To where, and by what service, does Red Sail ship?
We ship within the United States, via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or USPS Priority Mail. If you'd like to have your items shipped by another service, such as FedEx Express, please contact us at 971-266-8472 BEFORE placing your order, as additional charges may apply. For info on international shipping, please read below.
When will my order ship?
Generally, we ship in-stock orders within 3 business days. We will notify you by email if an item is back ordered, or if there is any other reason for a delay in shipping. Delivery time will vary depending on your location, the closer you are to Portland OR, the shorter the delivery time. The map to the right is a handy guide in computing transit times for FedEx Ground/Home Delivery.
What do I do if an item arrives damaged?
Please inspect your purchases upon delivery. If an item is damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the package. It is very important that you retain all of the damaged packaging so that a claim may be filed with the shipper. We will file a damage claim with the shipper and ship a replacement as soon as possible.
Free Shipping Special
We are currently offering free shipping when your merchandise totals $100 or more. Items ship via USPS or FedEx Ground, and must have a delivery address within the lower 48 states. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for this offer. If you have questions, email email@example.com before placing your order.
Yay! We now ship internationally to most countries. If you would like a quote for international shipping please email us your complete mailing address, a list of the items you are looking to purchase (please include quantity and size/color information). Shipping requests should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will get back to you by email ASAP (be sure to check your spam folder). If you accept our shipping quote we will email you a special invoice payable online by credit card. Please be aware, once you accept the quote and pay this invoice your order cannot be canceled or revised.
International orders are shipped via US Postal Service, are insured for their full value, and can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks for delivery depending on the speed of your local post and customs office. Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country, and you (the recipient) will be responsible for paying all additional charges for customs clearance. You should contact your local customs office for further information. We have no control over this cost, nor do we know how much it will be. We will not mark merchandise shipped overseas as a gift, or misrepresent the product’s value to avoid these fees.
For items shipped outside of the United States, you accept the risk of loss and title for that merchandise upon our delivery of your package to the shipping carrier. Red Sail is not liable for lost or stolen packages and releases responsibility upon transfer of the package to the shipping carrier. Red Sail will not be held responsible for additional shipping charges incurred if packages are returned to our store due to customer absence, errors in shipping addresses or package refusal. If you refuse a shipment from Red Sail, you remain responsible for all original shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs incurred on the package (original and return shipments) and the cost of returning the package to us. We will subtract this amount from your merchandise credit, if any.
